Levy Wash, noteworthy guitarist on the local scene has been a member of Snatch, Inc. over 14 years. His first professional stint was with a band called RAVEN. He also played with other well known local bands: CROSSBREED; QUE, INC.; AND SLAVE.
After serving up spice to dedicated audiences, Levy branched out and became a member of the nationally acclaimed Carl Weathersby Band. During this time, as rhythm guitarist with Carl, he recorded two CD's.
Levy locally serves as District Chief of the Fire Department in East Chicago, Indiana. His landmark performances include long smoking blues solos, saucy sensuous Latin-tinged sounds and sultry jazz riffs. His well flavored melodies respectfully acknowledge the original performing artist, but allow him to personalize a rendition with dynamite ownership. Additionally, Levy encompasses a multitude of styles into his performances including jazz ballads, 70's funk, and the Motown sound. This enticing, entrancing and enigmatic performer serves up everything in one fluid motion.
